Welcome to boutique hotel De Gravin in ‘s-Gravenzande!
De Gravin, meaning ‘The Countess’, is named after Countess Machteld – the patroness who gave ‘s-Gravenzande its city rights. At the time, she gave this coastal market town an identity. This Countess has inspired us during the realisation of this hotel. It would be our pleasure to receive you at our historical site, right behind the dunes and on the edge of the cosy village centre.
The monumental building, a former warehouse which was built around 1850, creates a very attractive atmosphere with its oak beams, high ceilings and large open fireplace. The original elements have been blended with industrial details, and the interiors of the 8 (different) rooms have been inspired by the Dutch masters. The building has been renovated entirely and equipped with every modern facility, ensuring you enjoy a very pleasant stay.
Thanks to its location, right next to the beach and in the vicinity of The Hague, Delft and Rotterdam, you will always have something to do.
Our aim is to create a comfortable, warm atmosphere, in order to provide leisure and business guests alike an as pleasant as possible stay.
We hope to welcome you soon at De Gravin!
